After optioning Domingo Germán to Triple-A last night, the Yankees recalled fellow right-handed pitcher Domingo Acevedo from Double-A on Saturday morning. Next week, Luis Cessa (still officially in Triple-A at the moment) will be called up and start in Germán's spot in the pitching rotation.

Quirky stat—since the start of 2015 going into Friday...Matt Carpenter versus Cubs: 155/240/318 with 9 homers in 262 PAs.

Justin Upton's line drive bounced off the glove of an outstretched Marwin Gonzalez and was ruled, controversially, a base hit, breaking up Dallas Keuchel's no-hitter with two outs in the seventh inning. Tough play, but you have to think Carlos Correa makes it if he isn't on the DL.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Dallas Keuchel, 10-2 in his career against the Angels, has thrown five no-hit innings tonight. Just one walk and three strikeouts, with the Astros leading 3-0.

Stephen Strasburg wouldn't elaborate on the dugout dust-up that went down between him and Nats teammate Max Scherzer tonight: "It's part of family. You got to be in the family."

Aaron Boone says the issues with Domingo Germán are "mechanical." So much so that the Yankees just optioned Germán back to Triple-A tonight. Luis Cessa, who pitched a gem tonight in Scranton, will be called up and make that next start when it arrives in the rotation.

The Giants have also been among the teams which have expressed interest in Familia; Braves not involved.
