Game 1 could not have gone better for the Indians as the combination of Corey Kluber, Andrew Miller and Cody Allen dominated.

Indians beat Cubs 6-0 to take Game 1 of World Series. The ViewFromVegas is they did it after closing as -110 home favorites and the game stayed under the total of 6.5 runs. The Indians are 8-1 in the playoffs and 8-1 with the under.

Corey Kluber overpowered the Cubs for six innings and Cleveland's airtight bullpen finished up as the Indians beat Chicago 6-0 in Game 1 of the World Series. On a historic night featuring franchises that have gone a combined 176 years without winning a title, Cleveland jumped on Jon Lester for two early runs and added a third tally in the fourth inning on Roberto Perez's solo homer. Perez added a 3-run shot late to ice it. The Indians improved to 70-1 this season when they grab a lead of at least three runs. Kyle Schwarber doubled in his return for the Cubs, but that was the lone bright spot for Chicago. Game 2 is Wednesday.

For those watching World Series Game 1, the Spurs lead the Warriors 64-46 at halftime of their NBA season opener. The Warriors closed as 8-point home favorites and the Spurs were +525 on the money line at the Westgate. The second-half line is Warriors -10.5. Earlier, the defending champion Cavaliers beat the Knicks 117-88 to easily cover as 9.5-point home faves.
