Mike Pelfrey agrees with Twins

Mike Pelfrey and the Minnesota Twins have agreed on a two-year deal worth $11 million, a baseball source told ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick.

The right-hander can earn up to $3.5 million more in incentives, according to the source.

Pelfrey, 29, posted a 5-13 record with a 5.19 ERA in 29 games for the Twins this past season after recovering from Tommy John surgery.

The agreement comes on the heels of the Twins bolstering their rotation with the signings of free-agent hurlers Ricky Nolasco and Phil Hughes.
