Forecast: AL and NL MVP Watch

The first month of the baseball season is in the books. And in a landslide vote, our forecast says Los Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout is the American League's MVP and Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is the National League's MVP so far. Trout received 32 first-place votes (out of 46) from our panel, while Tulowitzki got 24 first-place votes.

Chicago White Sox rookie first baseman Jose Abreu earned eight first-place votes, and Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon received seven first-place votes.

Trout also received a whopping 44 votes from our ESPN Forecast panel as they predicted who will win the AL MVP when the season ends. Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman got 16 votes to top the NL in that category.
