Blue Jays' Curtis Granderson exits with hamstring tightness

Toronto Blue Jays left fielder Curtis Granderson left Friday night's game against the Tampa Bay Rays in the bottom of the second.

The team said Granderson had tightness in his right hamstring and will be re-evaluated Saturday.

Dalton Pompey came off the bench and took over in left field.

Granderson, 37, signed with the Blue Jays in the offseason to bolster the outfield's offensive production. He is batting .288 with three home runs and 13 RBIs and an OBP of .441.
