Blister forces Marcus Stroman to leave start early

Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Marcus Stroman left Tuesday night's game against the visiting Boston Red Sox after seven innings with a blister on his pitching hand.

Stroman had held the Red Sox to two hits on 92 pitches and left with Toronto leading, 3-1.

Reliever Ryan Teperea then gave up four runs in the eighth -- including a three-run homer by J.D. Martinez -- before getting ejected at the end of the inning for arguing with home plate umpire Ed Hickox.
