Four minor leaguers suspended

NEW YORK -- Four minor league players have been suspended for violating baseball's drug policy.

Chicago Cubs minor league catcher Luis Flores and Minnesota Twins minor league first baseman Kennys Vargas each were penalized 50 games Thursday by the commissioner's office after positive drug tests. Free-agent pitcher Emanuel Ramirez also drew a 50-game penalty.

Houston Astros minor league pitcher Euris Quezada was suspended 25 games for his violation.
