Albert Pujols hits long homer

ST. LOUIS -- Albert Pujols' National League-leading 29th home run in the first inning Sunday night was also the third-longest at Busch Stadium this season.

Pujols' two-run shot off Esmil Rogers of the Colorado Rockies cleared the bleachers beyond the visitor's bullpen in left field and was estimated by ESPN Stats & Analysis at 435 feet.

Pujols entered the game tied with teammate Lance Berkman for the league lead in homers. It's the latest in the season the franchise has had the league's top two home run hitters.
