Brandon Belt hit a two-run homer with two out in the 10th inning, and the San Francisco Giants beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 on Wednesday night to stop a four-game slide.

Patrick Corbin loses his no-hitter with two outs in the eighth in frustrating fashion: Brandon Belt sends a check-swing dribbler to where a third baseman normally would play, but with a shift on, shortstop Nick Ahmed had to range too far to his right and Belt beat the throw to first.

A.J. Pollock makes an outstanding diving catch out in center field to preserve Patrick Corbin's no-hitter through seven innings. The Diamondbacks lefty is dealing with just 73 pitches, relying on a slider that has been one of the most dominant pitches in the game this season. The only catch: Arizona hasn't scored off Johnny Cueto, so it's 0-0 tie heading into the bottom of the seventh.

Rookies Lucchesi, Villanueva carry Padres past Giants 10-1

Joey Lucchesi struck out nine in six innings, fellow rookie Christian Villanueva homered, doubled and drove in three runs, and the San Diego Padres cruised past San Francisco 10-1 on Sunday to beat the Giants for the third straight game.

Ross hits, pitches Padres to 5-1 win over Giants

Tyson Ross hit an RBI single with the bases loaded to snap a scoreless tie in the fifth and pitched six-plus strong innings to lead the San Diego Padres to a 5-1 victory against the San Francisco Giants on Friday night.

Stratton shuts down Padres on 1 hit in Giants' 7-0 win

Chris Stratton and reliever Derek Law combined on a one-hitter, and Hunter Pence's broken-bat, two-run bloop single highlighted a three-run first inning that sent the San Francisco Giants to a 7-0 victory over the San Diego Padres on Thursday night.

Andrew McCutchen does it again for the Giants, driving in the winning run to cap off a 5-4 victory. Jorge De La Rosa had walked the bases loaded with one out, and McCutchen knew he had to see a first-pitch strike, and hit a soft single into left-center off a first-pitch fastball. Good comeback after Arizona starter Patrick Corbin had dominated for the first five innings.

Good time for Paul Goldschmidt's first home run: His two-out blast off Hunter Strickland in the ninth ties the game. The Giants had taken a 4-3 lead in the eighth when Andrew McCutchen stole third and scored on Alex Avila's throwing error.
