Knizner continues to impress in AFL

Cardinals catching prospect Andrew Knizner hit two home runs and notched three RBIs in Friday's Arizona Fall League action, following up a 4-for-5 effort on Tuesday. The seventh-round pick in 2016 out of N.C. State is now batting .393 through seven games and is just one of three players in the AFL with a multihomer game so far.

Knizner shines in AFL

Cardinals catching prospect Andrew Knizner went 4-for-5 with a double in Tuesday's Arizona Fall League action, bringing his average to .400 with three RBIs through five games. The 22-year-old slashed .279/.325/.480 across 44 games with low-A Peoria this past season before being promoted to Double-A Springfield, where he slashed .324/.371/.462 in 51 games.
