Well, that didn't last long: The bomb Texas' Joey Gallo just hit off Kansas City's Nate Karns went 462 feet (!) with an exit velo of 123.6 mph (!!). According to our stat crew, that's the hardest-hit homer since ESPN since starting tracking these things in 2009.

Crazy ending in Rays-Tigers game. K-Rod is about to escape a bases-loaded, no-out jam with a double play, but Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias trips on the bag and throws the ball away as two runs score and the Rays win 8-7. What a nightmare finish for the Tigers.

Red Sox 4, Rays 3: Make it three in a row for the Sox, who won the annual 11 a.m. Patriots' Day game at Fenway. Andrew Benintendi keyed a big second inning with a two-out, two-run double and finished with three hits. Craig Kimbrel nailed down another save with his third perfect ninth inning in as many games.

ESPN Stats and Information

Greg Bird's 444-foot shot off Adam Wainwright wasn't just Sunday's longest homer – it was the farthest hit by a Yankee since 2015. Two Brewers also had big blasts, while Adam Frazier's 432-footer was by far the longest of his young career.
