A UFC featherweight championship fight between Cris "Cyborg" Justino and Holly Holm will take place at UFC 219 on Dec. 30 in Las Vegas. Officials announced the 145-pound title bout Thursday.

This was Northcutt's first appearance of 2017 and first since joining Sacramento's Team Alpha Male full-time.
Middleweight Cezar Ferreira (12-6) defeats Nate Marquardt (35-19-2) via split decision at UFC Fight Night in Norfolk, Virginia. Not a great fight. Both guys were hesitant early. Ferreira turned to his wrestling in the third round and scored some offense on top. After the result, Ferreira called out Paulo Costa, who is coming off a nice win over Johny Hendricks.

McKee's victory, which came after a trying second round, was overshadowed by UFC star Conor McGregor, who was in attendance in support of his teammate Charlie Ward. McGregor shoved referee Marc Goddard inside the cage, after Goddard attempted to remove McGregor from the cage after he jumped in to celebrate Ward's win.
Bantamweight Raphael Assuncao (26-5) knocks out Matthew Lopez (10-2) in stunning fashion at UFC Fight Night in Norfolk, Virginia. Whiffs on a flying knee, but comes back with a right hand to the temple that put Lopez down in the third round. What a KO. And Assuncao moves to 10-1 in his last 11.
Lightweight Clay Guida (34-17) knocks out Joe Lauzon (27-14) in 67 seconds at UFC Fight Night in Norfolk, Virginia. Bout probably could have been stopped sooner. Guida rocked Lauzon with a right cross, then floored him with an uppercut. Lauzon went into auto-pilot and took additional damage. Guida revealed it was the final fight of his UFC contract and encouraged the fans to tell the organization to re-sign him.
Bantamweight Marlon Moraes (19-5-1) defeats former flyweight title challenger John Dodson (19-9) via split decision at UFC Fight Night, then calls out Jimmie Rivera, who just lost Dominick Cruz as an opponent in a scheduled fight on Dec. 30. Love that fight. Hope the UFC makes it.

I just spoke with now-former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt after his first career loss, a second-round knockout to former teammate TJ Dillashaw. Garbrandt made no excuses, gave credit to Dillashaw's resilience and owned the mistake on the decisive right hook from TJ. He wants an immediate rematch. Dillashaw told me he wants to fight Demetrious Johnson next at 125 pounds. Dominick Cruz says he wants a title shot against the 135 champ, now Dillashaw, with a win over Jimmie Rivera. Every option is equal parts difficult and enticing.
Light heavyweight Ovince St. Preux (22-10) continues to blow non-ranked opposition out of the water, knocking out Corey Anderson (9-4) with a left head kick in the third round at UFC 217 in Madison Square Garden. That's St. Preux's 10th win in the UFC, although he's come up short against the highest ranked opponents like Jon Jones, Jimi Manuwa, Ryan Bader, Glover Teixeira and Volkan Oezdemir.

James Vick dropped Joe Duffy with a right uppercut and finished him on the ground with hammerfists. Referee stops the fight just moments before the first round ended. The win was Vick's third in a row.
Harris catches Godbeer with a knee to the groin and a kick to the head as the referee separates them. Doctor says Godbeer is medically unable to continue. Harris is disqualified, so Godbeer is declared the winner.
Jamaican welterweight Randy Brown (10-2) takes out Mickey Gall (4-1) via unanimous decision at UFC 217 in Madison Square Garden. Gall, 25, built momentum in 2016 with wins over former WWE star CM Punk and Sage Northcutt, but he came up short in his first appearance of 2017. Brown out-wrestled him and racked up offense from top position. It's Brown's fourth win in the UFC.
