RANK | FIGHTER | TRENDING | COMMENT
| ![]() 14-3-0 | -- Last Rank: 1 | Injuries continue to be the issue for the UFC heavyweight champ. His latest is not expected to keep him sidelined long and he is unquestionably the No. 1 heavyweight in the world, but few need a clean bill of health more right now than Velasquez.
| ![]() 24-8-1 | -- Last Rank: 2 | The man has been virtually unstoppable since he parted ways with the UFC in 2008. Today, he's back in the Octagon with an interim title around his waist. His hit list in the past six years is outstanding, and he has never looked better than right now.
| ![]() 21-6-0 | -- Last Rank: 3 | He dodged a bullet against Stipe Miocic and remains unbeaten in the UFC against anyone other than the champ. Still, one has to wonder if JDS is ready for a fourth fight against Velasquez or if he's better suited taking more time to round out his game.
| ![]() 18-7-1 | 1 Last Rank: 5 | "Hapa" came back with a vengeance from a demoralizing loss to Werdum in April. Now training out of Glendale Fight Club, Browne says he has learned how to fight, as opposed to relying so much on his athleticism. That's a scary thought.
| ![]() 19-3-0 | 1 Last Rank: 4 | He didn't get the win against dos Santos, but he proved he has definitely closed that perceived gap between the Brazilian and the rest of the division. That was Miocic's first five-round fight, so chances are he'll learn a thing or two from it.
| ![]() ![]() 13-14-1 | -- Last Rank: 6 | He came up short in an interim title bid at UFC 180, but there are asterisks involved. Hunt accepted the fight on short notice and arguably wasn't the best version of himself. Something tells us he's not done yet.
| ![]() 45-17-0 | 4 Last Rank: NR | "The Reem" tiptoed his way around Roy Nelson's club of a right hand while taking the sledgehammer to poor "Big Country's" body. If you can get to Overeem's chin, you've got a chance -- but you better beat him to it.
| ![]() 35-8-0 | 1 Last Rank: 7 | Last year came and went without a single appearance from Barnett. The effect of his loss to Browne in late 2013 lingers, but this is still a dangerous heavyweight.
| ![]() 28-19-0 | 1 Last Rank: 8 | Arlovski looked a little gun-shy in his return to the UFC earlier this year, but he followed that with a three-minute knockout over Antonio Silva in September. This division is wide-open for a sleeper pick such as Arlovski to make some waves in 2015.
| ![]() 36-12-0 | -- Last Rank: 10 | The 10th spot in these rankings have become a bit of a carousel. It's Rothwell's turn to occupy it, coming off a knockout win over Overeem. Quietly, Rothwell has won three of his last four.
