Cerrone, Barboza set for UFC bout

A UFC lightweight bout between Donald Cerrone and Edson Barboza has been booked for April 19 in Orlando.

The fight will take place during a UFC on Fox event at Amway Center. Fox Sports earlier reported the matchup.

Cerrone (22-6) is less than two weeks removed from a first-round knockout over Adriano Martins on Jan. 25. Currently riding a two-fight win streak, Cerrone said he'd like to fight six times in 2014.

His most active year came in 2011, when he compiled a 4-1 record in the UFC.

Barboza (13-1) will carry a three-fight win streak into the bout. All three wins occurred in 2013, including finishes over Lucas Martins and Rafaello Oliveira.

The Brazilian is coming off a majority decision win over Danny Castillo at a UFC on Fox event in December. His only loss came via first-round TKO to Jamie Varner in May 2012.

A heavyweight fight between Travis Browne and Fabricio Werdum is currently scheduled to headline the UFC on Fox event in Orlando.
