The UFC has canceled plans for a live event on March 3 in Las Vegas. It is the second time a scheduled UFC event in 2017 has been scrapped.
The event, UFC Fight Night, has been postponed, according to a released statement. It was scheduled to air on UFC Fight Pass, the UFC's Internet subscription service.
"A new date for the event will be announced at a later date," the statement read.
The UFC Fight Night event on March 3 was supposed to lead in to a UFC 209 pay-per-view event on March 4, which will take place inside Las Vegas's T-Mobile Arena. The UFC had not announced any bouts for the now-canceled event.
Last month, the UFC announced it was postponing a UFC 208 pay-per-view event that was originally scheduled to take place on Jan. 21 in Anaheim, California. The UFC immediately announced it had reserved a new date at the Honda Center on Aug. 5.
