Still in search of his first win in 2011, Ryan Bader has agreed to meet Jason Brilz in a light heavyweight matchup at UFC 139 in November.
UFC officials announced the fight Tuesday. The event will take place at the HP Pavillion in San Jose, Calif.
After entering the year as one of the sport's top prospects, Bader (12-2) has gone winless in 2011. He suffered a second-round submission loss at the hands of current champion Jon Jones at UFC 126 in February.
The former Arizona State wrestler was submitted again in June, this time by Tito Ortiz in the first round at UFC 132. It was a major setback for Bader, who was favored in the fight as high as 5-1.
Brilz (18-4-1) hasn't fared any better in 2011. He suffered a 20-second knockout loss at the hands of Vladmir Matyushenko in April, his only appearance this year.
"The Hitman" has dropped three of his last four fights, although a split-decision loss to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in May 2010 fell under some controversy.
The promotion has yet to announce the 205-pound fight's placement on the card. A heavyweight title fight between Cain Velasquez and top contender Junior Dos Santos is scheduled to headline the event.
