Cristiane 'Cyborg' Santos re-signs

Strikeforce women's featherweight champion Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos has re-signed with the promotion.

Santos, who has not fought since June 26, 2010 when she stopped Jan Finney in two rounds, made the announcement Thursday on her Twitter account.

Details of the contract were not revealed.

"Contract with @StrikeForce SIGNED! Stay tuned for next fight info!," Santos tweeted.

Santos is regarded as the best female mixed martial artist. She has a professional record of 10-1-0 overall, 4-0-0 in Strikeforce.

Santos claimed the Strikeforce 145-pound title in August 2009, when she stopped Gina Carano in the first round. She has successfully defended her title twice.
