UFC 165 heads to Toronto

A UFC pay-per-view event has been scheduled on Sept. 21 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

Officials announced the UFC 165 card on Tuesday. It will be the first card in Toronto since UFC 152 last September and fourth overall. In April 2011, UFC 129 held at Rogers Centre drew an all-time UFC record attendance of 55,724.

The promotion is scheduled to visit another Canadian city next month, when it makes its first trek to Winnipeg, Manitoba, for UFC 161. It also held an event on March 16 in Montreal.

No fights have been confirmed for the UFC 165 card. Previous main events in the city include a welterweight title fight between Georges St-Pierre and Jake Shields and two light heavyweight title defenses by Jon Jones against Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort.
