Barnes rejoins 'Trotters after winning NBDL title

PHOENIX -- Milton Barnes returned to the Harlem Globetrotters on Wednesday as coach and vice president of basketball operations.

Barnes rejoined the Globetrotters after leading the Greenville Groove to the National Basketball Development League's first championship.

Barnes first joined the Globetrotters coaching staff in August 2000.

Prior to his first stint with the Globetrotters, Barnes served as men's coach at Eastern Michigan from 1996-2000, compiling a 62-53 record.
