The Grizzlies are expected to keep Troy Williams with their final roster spot and waive 2014 first-round pick Jordan Adams, who has been limited to 32 games in two seasons due to injuries. Adams is recovering from summer knee surgery and isn't likely to be cleared to play for several weeks. "I can assure you that the only issue is he's not healthy," said agent Wallace Prather, who represents Adams. "He'll be healthy soon enough and he'll be back." Williams, an undrafted rookie out of Indiana, took advantage of an opportunity created by injuries to starting wings Chandler Parsons and Tony Allen among others, averaging 13.2 points on 52.1 percent shooting while leading Memphis in minutes during the preseason.
