Philadelphia 76ers rookie forward and No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons fractured a bone in his right foot, the team announced Friday. The Sixers did not specify how long he will be sidelined.

Biggest takeaway from the Boston Celtics' intrasquad scrimmage on Friday night at TD Garden: Terry Rozier lived up to all the training camp hype suggesting that he's been the most impressive player in practices. The second-year guard, who many thought the Celtics reached for at No. 16 in the 2015 draft, looked poised, confident, and ready to elevate to a rotation role this season.
