The Knicks struggled to defend the arc in the preseason (6th worst in the NBA) and Jeff Hornacek says that's a point of emphasis tonight against Cleveland. "We have to try to limit those, not let them have a 15-for-30 night and maybe hold them down to 10 threes."

Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans recently resumed on-court activity, GM Dell Demps said Tuesday, but his timetable for a return after three knee surgeries in a span of nine months remains the same. "He's been working hard," Demps said. "His body looks great. We'll have a better indication in maybe two weeks. We hope to have him back hopefully before January. Could it be late November? Maybe. Maybe early December, mid-December. It'll all [depend] on how his rehab goes over the next couple weeks."
