Notre Dame's Steven Vasturia is scheduled to work out for the Hawks, per league sources, following recent workouts with the Nets and Knicks. Vasturia, a 6-5 guard, has also worked out for the 76ers and Lakers in addition to playing well in front of NBA decision-makers at the Portsmouth Invitational. Vasturia has a strong resume: he's just the 2nd player in Notre Dame history to score more than 1,000 points have more than 300 assists and hit more than 85% of his free throws. Vasturia's workout with the Knicks included his Notre Dame teammate, V.J. Beachem, per league sources. Beachem, a 6-8 200-pound forward, scored 14.5 points per game for the Irish and his 36% of his 3-point attempts last season. Vasturia's Knicks workout was first reported by Basketball Insiders. The Knicks own two second-round picks (44 and 58) and have been working out several players who should be available when New York makes those selections.
