Is Kentucky's all-time leader in career blocked shots (268), ranking fifth all-time in the Southeastern Conference. Recorded 37 blocks in NCAA Tournament career, tying Alonzo Mourning for third. Became 47th member of Kentucky's 1,000-point club, finishing his career as the school's 42nd all-time leading scorer.

Became first Kentucky player and third SEC player ever to be named SEC Player of the Week three times in one season as a senior. Originally applied for early entry into the 1999 NBA Draft, but withdrew his name from consideration prior to the draft.

Named First Team All-Southeastern Conference as a senior by both the media and the coaches. Topped team in games started (33), rebounding (9.1 rpg, which also led the SEC), field goal percentage (.500) and blocks (54), and finished second in scoring (13.2 ppg). Tallied an SEC-leading 15 double-doubles.

Scored a career-high 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds vs. Vanderbilt and later matched that high with 23 points vs. South Carolina. Rang up 14 points and 13 rebounds vs. Florida, prompting Gators coach Billy Donovan to say, "From start to finish, he has been the best player in our league." Recorded 18 points and 11 boards vs. Michigan State and 19 points and 10 rebounds vs. Georgia, causing Bulldogs head coach Jim Harrick to say, "He's better than any big man we've faced all year."

As a junior, led team in blocked shots (66) and finished fourth in rebounding (4.4 rpg) and fifth in scoring (7.0 ppg). Upped his numbers in postseason play, averaging 8.3 ppg, 5.1 rpg and 2.1 bpg while shooting 55.8 percent from the floor. In first start of the year (vs. Tennessee State), led team with 15 points and eight rebounds. Had 10 points and 11 rebounds vs. LSU and 14 points and 11 boards vs. Arkansas. Notched three double-doubles. Blocked a career-high six shots vs. both Maryland and Wright State.

Started 12 games as a sophomore on team that won NCAA championship. Had excellent NCAA Tournament, shooting 71.4 percent from the field and 80 percent from the line in the six games. Also swatted an average of 3.0 shots per game in the NCAA Tournament, including six vs. UCLA in the South Region semifinals. Reached double-figures in scoring five times. Scored a season-high 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting vs. Missouri and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds. Tallied 12 points and seven rebounds vs. Georgia Tech.

Started 22 games as a freshman, including five of six in the NCAA Tournament as team reached the championship game. Named to SEC's All-Freshmen team. Led conference in blocks (79 for a 2.0 bpg average). In second collegiate game, tallied 16 points and eight rebounds vs. Syracuse in the Great Alaska Shootout. Notched the first double-double of his career with 10 points and 10 rebounds vs. Alaska-Anchorage. Blocked a career-high-tying six shots vs. both Wright State and Alabama.
