Kobe Bryant shrugged off a scoreless first half to finish with 20 points, eight assists and seven rebounds and the Los Angeles Lakers overcome a 20-point second-half deficit to beat the Charlotte Bobcats 100-93 Friday night.

It was the second-most points Bryant has scored in a game in his career after a scoreless first half. He scored 27 points on December 12, 1997 against the Rockets after failing to record a point in the first half.

  • The Lakers erased a 20-point deficit over the final 17+ minutes on Friday, outscoring the Bobcats 49 to 22.
