The Wright fit for Phoenix

Let's take a look at how the Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns did in their trade today. Here's a breakdown of the deal:

Celtics get: Minnesota first-round pick (top 12 protected 2015-16, else second-round picks in 2016 and 2017)
Suns get: Center Brandan Wright

Boston Celtics: B+

The Celtics never really gave Wright much of a chance after acquiring him as part of the package for Rajon Rondo three weeks ago (he played 86 minutes over eight games), suggesting he was not part of their long-term plans. I thought Wright might work with Boston's frontcourt, but as an impending free agent, the organization saw him merely as a trade chip.
