CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls guard Chris Duhon sat
out practice today at the Berto Center, a day after he was taken to
a hospital after crashing to the floor during last night's
exhibition game against Minnesota.
Duhon was carried off the floor on a stretcher after being
fouled by Eddie Griffin on a drive to the basket.
The team says tests performed at Hennepin County Medical Center
in Minneapolis turned up negative.
Duhon is expected to play in the team's regular season opener
versus the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday.
Also, the team announced the release of forward Randy Holcomb.
The 6-foot-9 rookie appeared in six preseason games and
averaged five points and a little over three rebounds.
