Stoudamire turned his left ankle during Memphis' loss at Cleveland on Friday night but was able to continue playing. The injury was not believed to be serious, and he was not listed on the pregame injury report. Stoudamire had more discomfort before the game, prompting the late lineup change.
Bobby Jackson made his first start of the season replacing Stoudamire.
Stoudamire, an 11-year pro, is averaging 8.5 points and 4.5 assists.
The injury prevented Stoudamire from playing against his cousin, Hawks rookie backup gaurd Salim Stoudamire, who also went to Arizona, for the first time.
He landed awkwardly after attempting a 3-pointer. Kirilenko was helped to the locker room and did return to to the Jazz bench in the first half.
Kirilenko missed 41 games last season. He missed 26 after spraining his right knee on Nov. 30 and then 14 more with a wrist injury.
Kirilenko is averaging 13.2 points and 8.5 rebounds through the first six games this season.
Harpring out: Forward Matt Harpring, hampered by an injured knee, says he will likely rest Saturday night at Chicago after playing 22 minutes in a victory against the Suns on Friday, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.
Harpring told the paper he didn't know he wasn't supposed to play on Friday.
"My doctor was in Italy, and we couldn't get a hold of him," he said. "When we reached him, he said, 'You're only supposed to play 20 minutes a night, and no back-to-backs.'"
Harpring will reportedly sit out Tuesday's game in Sacramento as well.
Duhon missed the Bulls' 85-84 home victory over Golden State on Wednesday.
"I feel better; it's not 100 percent, but there's a real good chance I'll play," Duhon told the paper. "I did more conditioning stuff [Friday]. But I feel as though I can go out and compete at a high level.
"It was rough [Wednesday]; I think that was the first time I've ever sat out or had to miss a game because of an injury," he said.
Duhon injured his right knee Nov. 2 in the Bulls' season opener, a 109-105 overtime victory against Charlotte.
