Anthony day-to-day; X-rays negative

DENVER -- The Denver Nuggets listed high-scoring forward
Carmelo Anthony as day-to-day Tuesday after X-rays and an MRI on
his sprained left ankle showed no break.

Anthony was injured in the first quarter of Monday night's loss
to New Jersey when he fell to the floor during a drive to the
basket. Anthony is averaging 21.6 points and six rebounds in 14
games this season.

Denver hosts New Orleans on Wednesday.
