Rockets forward docked a game check

NEW YORK -- Houston Rockets forward Juwan Howard was
suspended one game without pay by the NBA on Saturday for shoving
the basketball into the face of Toronto guard Mike James.
James drove toward the basket and was fouled by Howard during
the second quarter of Toronto's 112-92 victory Friday night. The
players exchanged words before Howard approached James and shoved
the ball into his face. James was restrained by his teammates. Both
received a technical, and Howard was ejected.
Howard will serve his suspension Sunday night when the Rockets
host the Denver Nuggets.
