Krystkowiak misses game vs. Raptors to be with wife in labor

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Bucks coach Larry Krystkowiak missed Tuesday night's game against the Toronto Raptors after his
wife, Jan, went into labor a few hours before the
opening tip.

During Milwaukee's 112-85 win, the Krystkowiaks welcomed twins.

Bucks assistant Tony Brown stepped in to coach Milwaukee on Tuesday and said he was buying groceries around 3
p.m. when he got a text message from Krystkowiak asking him
to take over.

Jan Krystkowiak is a former basketball player at the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The couple already
has three sons, Cameron, Luc and Ben.

Krystkowiak also is dealing with the recent loss of his uncle,
Marion Krystkowiak, who died on Sunday. Krystkowiak was estranged
from his father as a youngster and came to view his uncles as
father figures.
