Timberwolves re-sign free agent forward Smith

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Timberwolves have re-signed restricted free agent forward Craig Smith.

The undersized power forward averaged 9.4 points and 4.6 rebounds a game last year for the Timberwolves, his third season in the league. He scored a career-high 36 points against the Wizards in December.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

That leaves restricted free agent forward Ryan Gomes and free agent point guard Sebastian Telfair as the final two players from last year's team that have yet to be signed. The Wolves have expressed an interest in bringing both players back.
