Curry returns to Knicks' lineup

New York Knicks center Eddy Curry played in his first game of the season Thursday night against the Dallas Mavericks.

Curry missed the first 33 with a right knee injury. He entered with 2:42 left in the first, and scored his first basket on a wide-open layup just over a minute later.

The 6-foot-11 Curry, who has not played since New York's last preseason game, is in his fourth season with the Knicks. He averaged 13.2 points and 4.7 rebounds last season.
