Warriors' Watson sidelined

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State Warriors guard C.J. Watson will miss one to three weeks because of a sprained ligament in his right knee.

Watson was injured Tuesday in the first practice of the season. He underwent an MRI on Wednesday and was diagnosed with a sprained medial collateral ligament.

The second-year player averaged 9.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists last season.
