Jackson returns for Bobcats

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte Bobcats leading scorer Stephen Jackson is in the starting lineup against Detroit after sitting out a game to rest his sore right hamstring.

Jackson said before Saturday's game that he was feeling "a lot better" after missing Friday's loss in Houston. Jackson has also been slowed by elbow, hand and ankle injuries.

Charlotte was without starting point guard Raymond Felton, who was scratched with flulike symptoms. D.J. Augustin started in his place.

Charlotte forward Tyrus Thomas (thumb) missed his third straight game, while forward Gerald Wallace was active despite a sore shoulder.

Richard Hamilton (ankle), Rodney Stuckey (rib) and Chris Wilcox (hamstring) were again sidelined for the Pistons.
