Source: Boozer set to meet with Bulls

Carlos Boozer is keeping busy as the first day of NBA free agency unwraps.

The former Jazz forward met with Utah and the Miami Heat in South Florida on Thursday and was scheduled to meet with the Bulls in Chicago on Friday, a league source told ESPN.com.

According to a source, Boozer will also meet with the New Jersey Nets over the weekend.

ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard reported Monday the Bulls, Heat and Nets were interested in speaking with the two-time All-Star.

Boozer is an established inside scoring threat, averaging 19.5 points and 11.2 rebounds with the Jazz this season.

Boozer is viewed as alternative to fellow max-contract big men Chris Bosh and Amare Stoudemire.

ESPN.com's J.A. Adande, ESPN.com's Andy Katz and ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard contributed to this report.
