Give the Warriors credit for the D they're playing, but poor shooting continues to doom the Spurs. They're 16 of 52 on FGs and 6 of 23 from range. LaMarcus Aldridge is 0 for 3 when defended by Kevin Durant tonight, and 1 of 6 for the series.

The Warriors lead the Spurs 22-20 after 1Q. San Antonio has proven it's not just going to lay down and let Golden State advance easily. The Spurs are shooting just 32 percent from the floor, but 33.3 percent from range. Their 3 turnovers have led to 4 points by the Warriors, which are struggling from deep (1 of 7). The fact that San Antonio got up 9 3-pointers in the opening quarter is somewhat of a victory for the Spurs.
