Boston Celtics draft stash Guerschon Yabusele, the 16th pick in the 2016 draft, has officially joined the Maine Red Claws and is expected to make his D-League debut on Friday. Yabusele averaged 20.9 points and 9.4 rebounds in 43 games in China.

In a matchup of the top two contenders for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the visiting Denver Nuggets 122-113 Tuesday to claim the head-to-head tiebreaker with a 3-1 series victory. Former Denver center Jusuf Nurkic battered his former team for a career-high 33 points and 15 rebounds and CJ McCollum scored 39 as Portland took a one-game lead in the standings.
