Raptors' Dwane Casey on Enes Kanter, who is 3rd in the NBA in offensive rebounds per 48 minutes: "Just one guy, I don't think, is going to box him out by himself because he's like the old-school Rodman, you know. Rodman goes to the boards, doesn't even look for his offensive shot and that's kind of Kanter," said Casey, whose Raptors held Kanter to 0 offensive boards Saturday. "He has that knack of finding you so we have to make sure we give him multiple bodies and he's one of the best of the world at the free throw line of just bulldozing his way in and running over whoever's in front of him to get a rebound. So we've got to make sure we put extra special attention to him at the free-throw line."

Pop just told me he's "never" throughout his entire coaching career come across the issue that Kawhi Leonard is experiencing with his quad. He said "what's weird" is that Tony Parker has essentially the same issue, "a quad tendon, but worse," but Kawhi isn't any closer to returning than TP, who will be back "very soon" according to Pop.

Patrick Beverley is known for his defensive prowess, but the Clippers have actually missed him most on the offensive end of the floor. They're over 9 points per 100 possessions better offensively with Beverley on than when he's been off.

Tyronn Lue says the Cavs are targeting Monday's game in Philadelphia for Iman Shumpert's return. In other injury news, there is no timetable set for when Tristan Thompson will practice, per Lue. As for Isaiah Thomas, Lue said there is no target date for his return yet, either. Yet, optimism is running rampant regarding the two-time All-Star. "We're excited about (how Thomas has made strides) and he continues to keep progressing every day," Lue said. "So we're happy for that and we'll see what happens."
