I thought Jabari Parker gave a great answer while discussing the growth he's felt on and off the floor throughout his time in Chicago. "I didn't know I was like five years removed from AAU, so to think about that is surreal itself," Parker said on Thursday, while promoting the Jordan Brand's RE2PECT campaign. "But I always make sure I keep it here in Chicago. I always come back, make sure that I go back to the things that made me successful. And that's being around my friends, my family, going back to my old high school gym [at Simeon]. I'm low maintenance. I don't have a membership at East Bank Club. I go to 81st and Vincennes to work out, that's where my high school is."
