The Knicks snap a 5-game losing streak - a win that takes them out of a three-way tie for the fourth worst record in the NBA. The Knicks will likely finish the night with the 6th worst record in the NBA.

Derrick Rose had a fantastic night (27 points on 12-for-17 shooting, 6 assists, 4 rebounds). Whether it's the Knicks or another club, someone is going to pay him this summer.

Richard Jefferson still gets booed in San Antonio. He didn't win a ring with the Spurs, but it's pretty silly to paint him as a victim. Oh well, Jefferson will always be cheered in Cleveland.

Mavericks aventaja 50-35 al Thunder al llegar al medio tiempo. Dallas estuvo abajo en el primer periodo hasta por seis puntos.

Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick Rose have combined for 71 points so far tonight. Jeff Hornacek must be wondering where this has been all season.

As the Knicks increase their lead to 20 with 10 minutes to play, one fan at MSG yells, "The Knicks are playing themselves!"? Most NYK fans would like to see the team lose games to improve their Lottery position.

Justin Verrier ESPN Staff Writer

Gordon Hayward (left quad contusion) and Derrick Favors (left knee contusion) both out tonight against the Pelicans. Joe Ingles and Boris Diaw will start in their places, per Jazz coach Quinn Snyder.

The Spurs go into intermission ahead 64-40 on the strength of 15 points from Kawhi Leonard and 12 from LaMarcus Aldridge. San Antonio's bench outscored Cleveland's 28-0, as the Cavs reserves played a combined 31 minutes, yet attempted just 3 FGs and 2 3's. Cleveland has turned over the all 9 times for 11 points, compared to only 1 turnover for the Spurs. Leonard and Aldridge have a combined 9 assists, while Patty Mills has 6 dimes off the bench.

The Knicks are making the extra pass to set up quality shots tonight, shooting 58 percent through three quarters against Detroit. Jeff Hornacek, who has been preaching ball movement all season, must be wondering where this has been all season.

The Cavs' and Spurs' stars might be able to rest in the fourth quarter. It looks like there will be a lot of garbage time with the Spurs up 24 at the half.

Tim MacMahon ESPN Staff Writer

The different sections weren't in sync, but Spurs fans gave Kawhi Leonard an "MVP! MVP!" chant at the free throw line after his off-balance, and-1 runner off the glass.

Justin Verrier ESPN Staff Writer

DeMarcus Cousins will sit out in Utah tonight with a right ankle sprain. Cousins' second straight absence because of the injury.

The Baseline Bums have been tamed a bit since the Spurs' ABA days. They used to sit above the visitors' tunnel in old HemisFair Arena and once pelted then-Nuggets coach Larry Brown with avocados and guacamole on a 10-cent beer night soon after his declaration that guacamole was the only good thing in San Antonio. "Still rowdy, not as drunk," one of the bums says.

Derrick Rose seemed to come up a little lame after hitting a layup over Andre Drummond but if you needed prove of his athleticism or leg strength, he just showed you plenty. It's hard for anyone to finish over Drummond - let alone a 6-3 guard.

Carlos Nava Columnist, ESPN Deportes

Entra a la duela JJ Barea cuando restan seis minutos del primer periodo entre Mavericks y Thunders. Oklahoma City aventaja 16-10 a Dallas con 5:48 en el primer cuarto.

Ian Begley ESPN Staff Writer

Orlando trails Toronto by 16 at halftime so, baring a Magic comeback, a Knicks win tonight would leave them with the NBA's 6th-worst record.? They are currently tied with Orlando and Philadelphia for the fourth-worst record in the league.

There are also a lot of LeBron haters in the building.

Bench scoring is making all the difference here as San Antonio finishes the opening quarter with a 28-18 lead thanks to its bench outscoring Cleveland's reserves 15-0. Manu Ginobili leads the way with 7 points on 3-of-3 shooting in just 5 minutes on the floor. Danny Green has 5 points, followed by Kawhi Leonard, who has 4 points and 3 assists. The Spurs have 9 assists on 11 baskets.

Tim MacMahon ESPN Staff Writer

The Cavaliers' recent funk continued in the first quarter. There are a lot of LeBron fans in the building, but they have very little to buzz about with the Spurs up 28-18.
