Tim MacMahon ESPN Staff Writer

Dirk Nowitzki: "I want to get back on the court as soon as possible. ... I'm all in. I want to play." No timetable for his return from a strained right Achilles' tendon.

Mavs 107, Bulls 82 (final). Dallas (4-15) no longer has the league's worst record. Wesley Matthews (26 points) and Dwight Powell (17) had season-best scoring nights for Dallas, which got 14 assists from Deron Williams. Rajon Rondo: 2 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 turnovers.

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson on Phoenix Suns tonight: "It feels like we've played them every week." This the third meeting.

Tim MacMahon ESPN Staff Writer

Dwight Powell, who is what Mavs have to show for the trade with Boston two years ago, has a season-high 15 points vs Rajon Rondo's Bulls.

Nick Friedell ESPN Staff Writer

A lot of frustration for Bulls tonight. They aren't playing well, they look tired and the offense has no rhythm. Big key -- Mavs have 23 assists, Bulls have just 9.

Towns bursts to the basket in OT

In overtime, Karl-Anthony Towns drives on a fastbreak and beats Nicolas Batum to the rim for an emphatic dunk. The Timberwolves defeated the Hornets 125-120.

Celtics 107, 76ers 106: Isaiah Thomas scored 13 of his game-high 37 points in the fourth quarter as Boston escaped with a win in a game it trailed in by as much as 11. An energized Thomas put Boston on his back in the final frame, scoring 12 straight points for the Celtics at one point during the final six minutes of the game. Backcourt partner Avery Bradley added 20 points for Boston.

ESPN Stats and Information

A couple of trends are stacked against the Suns for their game against the Warriors. Golden State has won 10 in a row at home against Phoenix. And the Warriors lost their most recent game (Thursday to the Rockets in two overtimes); Golden State has gone 105 consecutive regular-season games without back-to-back losses.

Tim MacMahon ESPN Staff Writer

Mavs have been up as much as 18 over the Bulls. Their biggest lead of the season before tonight was 12 over the Lakers.

Rajon Rondo isn't the only Mavs fan favorite visiting Dallas tonight. Ex-ref Bennett Salvatore is also in the house. He shared an awkward laugh with Mark Cuban at halftime.

Ian Begley ESPN Staff Writer

The Knicks have done group mindfulness training since Phil Jackson arrived. Over the last couple of years, those sessions were led by George Mumford, who worked with Phil's teams in Chicago and Los Angeles. This season, Jackson is leading the sessions, which take place once every few weeks.

Tim MacMahon ESPN Staff Writer

Mavs 57, Bulls 45 at half. Rajon Rondo (2 points, 0 rebounds, 1 assist) is making the kind of impact he often did during his Dallas stint.

Robin Lopez continues to play at a high level for the Bulls. He gets lost in the shuffle behind Wade and Butler -- but Lopez has been one of the most consistent players in the league throughout the first month of the season.

Nick Friedell ESPN Staff Writer

Bulls look listless in first quarter. Defense is stagnant -- Mavs getting whatever they want. Hoiberg knows he can't rely on bench all night, but starters logged a lot of minutes against Cavs and are going to need help from somewhere.

Tim MacMahon ESPN Staff Writer

Mavs 29, Bulls 18 after a quarter. Andrew Bogut (6 points, 8 rebounds) certainly isn't doing anything to hurt his potential trade value.

ESPN Stats and Information
