Kristaps Porzingis announces at a press conference in Latvia that he'll play for the Latvian national team this summer in the European Championships. The Knicks recommended last year that Porzingis not play with his national team. This year, it is unclear if they made any recommendation. Porzingis was frustrated by the lack of direction within the organization at the end of the season.

Mark Simon, one of ESPN's ace stat men, tells us who Larry McNeill is: He went 12-for-12 for the Kings against the Bulls in Game 2 of their First Round series in 1975. McNeill played power forward with star point guard Tiny Archibald. In Game 1 of the series, he went 6-for-6, meaning that in the first 2 games, he went 18-for-18. Houston center Nene tied McNeill's mark for most shots made without a miss in the playoffs in Sunday's victory over the Thunder.
