The calls from some fans to sit small forward Corey Brewer for K.J. McDaniels isn't happening. Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni supports Brewer's work, despite a defensive rating of 109. In the last five games, Brewer is shooting 28.1 percent from the field with a Plus/Minus of minus 7.4. Brewer produced his best defensive rating of the season, 80, in Wednesday's victory over Milwaukee. "The only thing that Corey might not do is make shots," D'Antoni said "We all know that, that's what you see, what you don't see is the energy he brings every game, the great defense he brings every game. He'll take the hardest guy out there every game and that's like putting that it in a lock box."

"I'm happy for him," Gentry said. "It's important for him to represent this city. I don't think people realize how much he loves this city and what it means to him. To be able to play in the hometown, in the All-Star Game, I think it's very, very important to him."
