After averaging just 6.8 points in the first round vs IND (on 5 FGAs per game) while guarding Paul George, J.R. Smith is now tasked with stopping DeMar DeRozan. "My coaches challenge me to live and die with their best guy," Smith said Sunday. "I mean, I like that challenge. It's something I wish I would've took more pride in as a younger player. But, I'm extremely excited to be in that position."

Rashad McCants was the No. 1 pick in the BIG3 league by Trilogy, captained by Kenyon Martin and Al Harrington and coached by Rick Mahorn.

Wizards completely unraveled in third with seven turnovers. Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley and Terry Rozier all making John Wall uncomfortable and unable to get to the rim easily. Smart and Bradley are much better and more physical defenders than anything Wall saw in first round against Hawks. Defensively, Wizards can't stop pick and roll or penetration and giving Celtics shooters too much space or rotating too late. Marcin Gortat's impact has been limited and the Markieff Morris (ankle) absence has allowed Boston to match up better and hide Isaiah Thomas on the likes of Kelly Oubre Jr. on defense.

Absence of Markieff Morris huge. Out since second quarter with ankle injury. Means that able to hide Isaiah Thomas on Kelly Oubre defensively.

Dr. J isn't exactly "excited" to be a coach in the BIG3 but he's "committed."

Wizards offense not nearly as crisp to start the second half. Washington has turned the ball over three times in the first three minutes of the third after having three total turnovers in the first half. Defensively, Washington having trouble keeping the Celtics off the glass, surrendering three offensive rebounds in a couple of minutes, leaving them scrambling before losing their lead.

A look at the BIG3 Draft order and player pool. Who should be the first pick today in Las Vegas?

Kelly Oubre Jr. starts second half for Markieff Morris (ankle).

Chris Forsberg ESPN Staff Writer

Celtics coach Brad Stevens elects to go with Marcus Smart over Gerald Green to start the second half. The Celtics were 4-0 after moving Green into a starting role in Game 3 of their series against the Bulls but struggled early in Game 1 against Washington. Smart provides some defense that was missing in the first half.

John Wall and Bradley Beal each have 13 points apiece at halftime, numbers that the Celtics can certainly live with. But look for the two Wizards stars to amp up their games in the second half and try to get to the line more. Wall has yet to shoot a free throw and Beal has only taken two free throws.

Ohm Youngmisuk ESPN Staff Writer

With Markieff Morris (ankle) questionable to return, Marcin Gortat, Otto Porter Jr. and Kelly Oubre Jr. have stepped up big for the Wizards. Gortat (14 points and 10 rebounds) already has a double-double while Porter has been very all over the floor with nine points and eight rebounds. Oubre has 10 points, a massive lift for the Wizards' much-maligned bench. No other Wizard sub scored in the first half.
