Doc Rivers didn't expect any of his players to be disciplined for MLK night's events, but he also didn't think suspensions were warranted. Overall, Rivers felt that players can be more like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in how they react to trash talk.

Kyle Kuzma (left hand joint sprain) hopes to be able to play on Friday against Indiana. He said his hand hurts but there isn't swelling as of now.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope tried to test his strained Achilles before the start of the second half and couldn't play. However Caldwell-Pope and Luke Walton are optimistic that the guard avoided serious injury.

Brandon Ingram tweaked his ankle injury again but Luke Walton said if the Lakers needed Ingram, he could've played.

Warriors beat Bulls 119-112. Niko Mirotic has another big night with 24 points in 27 minutes. Big question for Bulls now is the health of Kris Dunn. He took a hard fall on his face after a dunk late in the 4th. He was bleeding and appeared to crack a few teeth.

It was a pretty complete, and dominant, second half for the Thunder against the Lakers, outscoring them 54-36 to pull away impressively. In two meetings against the Lakers, the Thunder have a plus-61 margin. In this one, it was Carmelo Anthony who cooked, carving up any defender in front of him as Steven Adams manhandled the Lakers on the interior. Westbrook and George didn't shoot it well, but it didn't matter as the talent gap between the teams couldn't have been more obvious.

Ohm Youngmisuk ESPN Staff Writer

In two meetings against Oklahoma City without Lonzo Ball, the Lakers have lost by 37 and 24 points, respectively. The Lakers are now 0-8 when Ball is out. Besides Ball pushing the pace, creating ball movement and unselfish hockey assists on offense, the Lakers really miss their rookie point guard on defense. Entering tonight, the Lakers surrendered 107.8 points per game and 44.6% shooting with Ball. Without Ball, that swelled to 124.1 points and 51.9% shooting per game.

Adding more pain to this night for the Lakers: Kyle Kuzma is done for the game with a left hand joint sprain.

Nick Friedell ESPN Staff Writer

One of the worst quarters of the season for the Bulls. They scored just 12 points and were 6-for-25 from the field. The Bulls did not attempt a free throw and were 0-for-7 from beyond the arc. Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and Justin Holiday are a combined 7-for-34 from the field.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been downgraded to out with a strained right Achilles tendon.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope strained his right Achilles tendon and is questionable to return. Josh Hart starts second half for KCP.

OKC's offense looked quite good in the first half, moving the ball and finding efficient looks, but Julius Randle has torched them on the other end. That's been the story for the Thunder the last couple weeks, an inability to play a game with both ends of the floor clicking.

LA Clippers center DeAndre Jordan (ankle) officially ruled out for the third straight game tonight against the Denver Nuggets.

Ian Begley ESPN Staff Writer

Courtney Lee set a new Knicks record with 46 straight made free throws. Chris Duhon had the previous mark. Lee leads the NBA in free-throw percentage at 96 percent.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is back in the locker room after hurting his foot/ankle area.

Bulls close 1st quarter with a bang. Down 12 at one point, Bulls come roaring back to take a 40-38 lead. Robin Lopez is in the midst of one of his best starts of the season — 10 points, going 5-for-6 from the field. Bulls bench already has 13 points.

Floyd Mayweather just sat down courtside in Oklahoma City, next to Russell Westbrook's brother, Ray.

Royce Young ESPN Staff Writer

Westbrook has started out 1-8 shooting, which most recently includes getting rim-checked on a dunk attempt. After it, he ripped off the tape on his left thumb.

Royce Young ESPN Staff Writer

Something to watch: Russell Westbrook ran to the locker room during pregame warmups and was not on the floor during the national anthem, coming back out with his left thumb taped up. It appears to be bothering him some, with him grimacing at times, but after Billy Donovan asked him if he was OK, Westbrook quickly said, "I'm good."

Ohm Youngmisuk ESPN Staff Writer

Less than five minutes into the game, Luke Walton has burned two timeouts. Looking like it's going to be a long night for the Lakers against OKC again without Lonzo Ball.

Ohm Youngmisuk ESPN Staff Writer

And Luke Walton calls his first timeout less than two minutes into the game after Oklahoma City scores their first two baskets and Lakers look completely stuck in mud on offense.

Bobby Marks ESPN

Revised suspension amounts for the Rockets players are: Trevor Ariza will lose $51,178 per game for a total of $102,357. Gerald Green will lose $9,527 per game for a total of $19,054.
