Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, the team's best free-throw shooter at 76.5%, missed two late to give Boston a final shot to win but Marcus Smart missed a 3. "Frustrated we didn't make free throws," Luke Walton said. "We have guys that I trust that need to knock them down... hopefully we remedy this sooner than later... I have faith we will [turn it around]."

Lakers survive two missed free throws by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to hold on to a 108-107 win over Boston. Kyle Kuzma scored 17 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter — the most in the fourth by a Laker this season — to lead the Lakers to their seventh victory in the last nine games. Julius Randle finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson scored 22 points and Larry Nance Jr. added 11 points and nine rebounds in one of the Lakers' best wins of the season.
