Derrick Rose defended DeMar DeRozan's game-winning shot pretty well but DeRozan, one of the NBA's top defenders, nailed the contested fadeaway to ultimately seal Toronto's win. ?Carmelo Anthony missed an open three on the other end at the buzzer that would have won the game. Anthony threw his headband down in disgust. ?So it goes for the Knicks.

Here's a tweet almost no one will care about...always liked Saric's playmaking before NBA. Nice to see that part of his game coming back.

Knicks went isolated Carmelo Anthony to start their last possession. Anthony missed, got his own rebound, and fed Courtney Lee for an open three. Lee hits, Knicks are up one with 10 seconds to play.

Knicks are down two with the ball and 44 seconds to play. The play seemed set up for Carmelo Anthony to get the ball on the weak side. Instead, Derrick Rose found a seam and layed the ball in, tying the score at 88-88.

Hawks center Dwight Howard was ejected with 4:03 remaining in the third quarter when he received a technical foul for pulling himself up on the rim following an emphatic dunk. Howard got a technical earlier in the game for shoving Al Horford in the chest after taking umbrage with Horford giving a foul under the basket.

Carmelo Anthony, not interested in tanking, hits a turnaround jumper on the baseline over Cory Joseph to tie the game at 82-82 with 2:37 to go. He'll have a chance to break the tie from the free-throw line momentarily.

Have seen this t-shirt at MSG a few times. This one worn by Knicks fan Ernie Goetz:

Moments after Dwight Howard wrapped up Isaiah Thomas by his neck trying to give a foul, Howard and Celtics big man Al Horford got in a dust-up after Horford gave a foul to prevent an easy basket. Howard responded by shoving Horford in the chest, which fired up the typically reserved Horford. Howard got a technical for his part.

Bad close to the third quarter for the Knicks. They get the ball to Kyle O'quinn for a corner three - a shot he doesn't take often. He air balled it and Fred Van Vleet finished with a layup to end the quarter. Toronto down four entering the fourth.

Derrick Rose appears to have hurt his left shoulder or wrist on a collision with Patrick Patterson. He asked out of the game.

Wow. Toronto reels off seven straight points to open the third quarter and cuts the Knicks' 13-point lead to six. Jeff Hornacek calls a quick timeout. This Knicks team has lost many double digit leads this season. Are we headed toward another one here?

In the first meeting with the Pacers on Jan. 29, Rockets guard James Harden struggled, going 3-17 from the floor. Harden went 0-8 from the field when covered by forward Paul George. "That was a game where I thought Paul did a good job of just trying to stay in front and not allowing James to get to the free throw line," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said. "Those are two big keys in trying to guard him and guys like that. Just make it hard, make sure they shoot over a hand and in James' case keeping him off the free throw line, you've done a pretty good job."

Media critic Mark Cuban on the Shaquille O'Neal-JaVale McGee feud: "I'm Team JaVale every step of the way. Absolutely. Just because look, some of the comments Shaq made, if JaVale was still here, you would see me on top of him. Some of the things Shaq said in his tweets ... at which point does it get to be too much? They make fun of anybody and everybody. It's when you know you're getting to a guy, then you've got to back off. And you definitely don't make it personal."
