Jabari Bird is living up to his reputation as a strong shooter during pre-draft workouts. Bird, a 6-6 shooting guard out of California, hit 77 of 100 3-point shots in workouts with Milwaukee and Boston earlier this month and 67 out of 100 during a workout for Minnesota. Bird is a strong spot up shooter and can be effective in transition, which makes him an intriguing prospect for NBA decision-makers.

Like Lakers coach Luke Walton, Simon is an Arizona alum. Simon served as an assistant coach on Arizona's staff and recently was a college basketball analyst for ESPN. The Los Angeles Times first reported that the Lakers were in the process of adding Simon to their staff.
