The Knicks had offers on the table for several players but have stood pat at the trade deadline. Minnesota ultimately would not agree to what the Knicks were offering in a potential Derrick Rose trade. The Knicks were looking for an addition asset in addition for Rubio and Minnesota was unwilling to acquiesce. The Knicks also talked to the Clippers about a deal for Courtney Lee but nothing materialized.

With the Rockets trading K.J. McDaniels and Tyler Ennis on Thursday, they will head into the game against the Pelicans tonight with 10 active players. Rookies Chinanu Onuaku and Kyle Wiltjer are on the 15-man roster but will remain with the D-League team. Newly acquired guard Lou Williams completed his physical on Wednesday but won't be with the team until it returns from New Orleans. Williams is expected to be available for Saturday's game against Minnesota.
